Navy Doc LAT move to EOD 5 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I have been in almost 9 years as a Navy FMF Corpsman. I have spent my whole career with the Marines and i am finding myself more and more wanting to cross over. I cant go Recon due to the fact that i have a diving disorder that wont allow it. I have recently found myself with 1st EOD Co. I am attached to CLB 13 and i am liking this job more and more. Like i said i have almost 9 years active service. I am an E-5 with extensive marine corps training. I bring alot to the table and just want to know if it is to late or even worth it to go full on Marine to go EOD. Or is it even possible????

If you want it bad enough who cares, The only issue is that I dont know if you have to wait 4 years in the Marine corps before going eod.. I am assuming the career specialist would have more information.
